About talkie-ai.io
What this is, in one breath
talkie-ai.io is an independent resource for one job: getting you to the real Talkie AI without a detour through a fake app or a clone site. It is not the app. It is a reader that keeps the genuine entry points, the pricing, and the current status in one dated place, and explains the parts Talkie's own marketing skips. If you want to start talking, the access page has the working links; this page explains who built that and why.
Why Talkie, of all apps, needs a page like this
Most apps are one website and one store listing. Talkie is a moving target. Apple pulled it from the US App Store in December 2024, and the build that returned in early 2025 is listed as Talkie Lab. Google Play dropped it in late April 2026 and reinstated it in mid-May. Through all of that, the browser version stayed up, which is exactly why it matters that someone keeps track. On top of the store churn, the search results fill with modded and premium unlocked APKs that are not official, and the Talkie name collides with an unrelated healthcare voicebot and with a separate MiniMax app called Talkie Lab. A page written six months ago is wrong on half of this today. The way each of these facts is checked is spelled out separately, and the full timeline sits on the main page.
Who runs it
The editor is Melissa Blake, who covers AI companion and roleplay apps and writes everything published here. Talkie is not treated in a vacuum: it is measured against Character.AI, Janitor AI, Replika, SpicyChat and others, which is what keeps the comparisons honest rather than promotional. The rules that keep that judgment independent are laid out in the editorial standards.
What talkie-ai.io is not
It is not affiliated with Talkie, SUBSUP PTE. LTD. or the MiniMax group, and nobody there reviews or approves what goes up. It does not host chats, store your messages, or run any of Talkie's features. It does not sell placement. The Talkie name is used to describe the product this site covers, nothing more.
How to reach a person
