talkie-ai.io is for adults. This page explains why, and how the two different age checks in play actually work.
Why 18+
Talkie is rated 18+ and ships parental controls. It filters sexual and most mature content, so it is not built around explicit material the way some rivals are, but it is still an adult-oriented companion app, and watchdog write-ups in late 2025 flagged chats drifting suggestive without a firm age check. Because this site's whole subject is that app, the age line here tracks the age line on the product it covers. The content side is set out further on the § 2257 statement.
Two gates, not one

It collects nothing, as the privacy policy explains, and it suits an editorial site that writes about an adult product.

If you share a device
If you run a household or classroom device and want to keep sites about AI companion apps out of reach, this domain is a fair candidate to block. Ordinary parental-control software, DNS-level filtering such as OpenDNS FamilyShield or NextDNS, and browser content restrictions all do the job.
