Every claim about Talkie on this site should trace to one of the categories below. If it cannot, it does not get published. This page is the standard the rest of the site is held to, including the access page itself.
The order sources are trusted in
Direct observation of the free product. A real session on the web version and the app, used to confirm the sign-in options, character search, the Create-a-Talkie builder, short voice calls, and how the content filter shows up in ordinary chat. What sits behind a paid tier or a gem wall is reported from documented sources, not dressed up as first-hand paid testing.
Primary materials. the official web version and its own pages, the Google Play and App Store listings that name SUBSUP PTE. LTD. as developer, and MiniMax's own reporting, including the 2026 financial filing that put average spend per paying user near five dollars a month. Background on the company, from its Glow-to-Talkie history to the Alibaba-led funding round, comes from named outlets rather than the app's own copy.
Independent reporting. Named outlets for the things a single writer cannot measure. The December 2024 removal from the US App Store and Talkie's rise to the fourth most downloaded US app in the first half of 2024 come from the South China Morning Post, citing Sensor Tower.
Community signal. The r/talkie subreddit, used for outage timing and official staff posts, treated as reports rather than settled fact.
Aggregated coverage. Read only to cross-check a date or a price, never the sole basis for anything.
Verified against the live product versus attributed
